I am frustrated with the quality of gas I'm getting around town.

I feel that certain brands (e.g., BP) either have high alcohol quantity and/or lack good detergents to prevent fuel injector clogging - and I believe I've noticed lower grades of gas in SW/SE ATL in comparison to same-brand gas in NE ATL.

What I want to know is which station has provided you with gas that you think is better than gas from other stations. NOTE: I'm looking for specific station info, not just brand name.

For example, you may notice your vehicle running more smoothly/quietly, or better mileage.

NOTE: My question relates to common vehicles that are rated for the NON-Premim octane range.

Please don't tell me that gas quality perception is all in my imagination. You are not going to change my mind about this.

I'm looking forward to reading your recommendations for good gas from NE stations.

Thanks.

Sorry--I can't give you much of the FYI that you requested.

I can say that the QT at Briarcliff/N.Druid Hills must have 'above average' gas.

That is generally where I go and I use regular--on an older Honda--no problems.

I think QT does pretty well in general--when I travel north of Atlanta I try to stop there--very clean stations and efficient employees so I think this is a well-run company. It has been acknowledged--can't think of where at present as a good company. They chose good locations for their stores--maybe that was what I heard about them at some point--I like their selection of beverages and food items, too.

I think you mean 'Regular'--that is what I call it. ??87.9?? octane--the lowest?

Try some QT gas--the Honda functions well on it.

good luck
