Hubby just closed on a house in Lawrenceville which I'm very excited about.
We will be moving from the northeast with our 13 year old son, this August. I was interested in schools, which are the best? We will be living near great oaks, I believe. I've heard the wonderful stories about how great your cities' schools are.
Also he is in the Jr Skeet shooting team up here, and would love to continue his hobby down there, can you recommend any shooting teams for young adults near the area?
Thanks everyone!

If your son will be attending public school, then he'll be at the school for which your area is zoned. That looks like probably McConnell Middle School. See Gwinnett County school attendance zones here: Gwinnett County Public Schools Cluster Boundaries

Great Oaks? I'm not familiar with what you are talking about. What subdivision is it? I can tell you what school cluster that is in.

Oh, ok. I know the area well. I live also in unincorporated Lawrenceville, off of Five Forks Trickum. It's a great area. I was just shopping at The Avenue at Webb Gin yesterday. I really think you'll be happy
