Question can anyone tell me about East Point, Ga?

I know someone who moved there & I'm looking for information there, such as cost of living, crime rate etc.

Thanks for your help

East Point is an inner ring suburb of Atlanta. Older neighborhoods. Very close to the airport. One of the few cities in the metro area thats on the Marta rail line. Crime in the city is probably average for the metro area, there are some areas that are worse, some areas that are better. The same goes for East Point, some parts of town are worse, some are better. The schools aren't very good. Cost of living is pretty low, very affordable area.

How does East Point compare to College Park? I've driven around College Park before (looking for a supermarket...I was staying in a hotel there), and I wasn't particularly impressed. It seemed quite run down, although I did see hints of decent neighborhoods here and there. Is East Point similar?

East Point is similar. Less disruption from the airport or interstates.
