I think it's a nice town. Seems to be racially diverse. While I can't site statistics I don't get the feeling there's a real crime issue. We're living in an apartment near Thornton Rd until we live out a lease next Spring. I'm sorry that I can't speak too much to the schools or homes as we've done most of our house-hunting out in Douglasville. I haven't driven it during the morning rush but it's about 15 miles West of Atlanta via 20 West. I believe the traffic is pretty heavy to the point of 285 and then thins out before likely picking up again as you get closer to downtown. Thornton Road has pretty much everything and what's not on there can be found straight down the road about 8-10 miles on Camp Creek Pkwy or in Hiram going the opposite direction. The closet mall is in Douglasville which is just a couple of exits West on 20. If you have any more specific questions I will answer them the best I can.
