I live about 40 miles northeast of Atlanta. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good shop to look for a prom dress for my daughter. We'd heard of Girly Girl in Buford, so we checked it out. Their dresses are gorgeous, but well over $250! We'd like to keep the cost under $200, if possible. She really doesn't want to look for a dress at the Mall of GA. because she's afraid someone else will have her dress. I've even thought about driving her over to Greenville, SC for the day to shop for a dress. Any ideas of where we might find one without having to go too far out of town? THANKS!

Although I don't know the price range ( since I didn't look at the dresses while I was at this store), considering the price for the rest of the goods there (jewelry, etc.), I assume this store might be worth the trip. It's called "So Good". It's located next to Sams Club at I-85 and Steve Reynolds. It's a faily new store and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety they carry and the price. If you're traveling south on I-85, you'll need to take Pleasant Hill exit to right and take the first left on Venture Rd. Good luck!

I'd look in Forever 21 at the Mall. Macy's has some affordable ones too as does Loehmanns.
