Yes...and I think Smoke Rise is one better parts of the Metro Atlanta area to live in:

1. Beautiful!
2. Recreation/Stone Mountain Park
3. Close to all kinds of shopping
4. Close-in
5. Good commutes/highway access
6. Decent schools (Tucker High, Tucker Middle, Smoke Rise Elementary)

The Bermuda/Water's Edge area of Stone Mountain is also very nice (and there are several other nice "Stone Mountain" areas).

The "Stone Mountain" address area is huge...with many options.

I believe that many will say as I did that "areas of Stone Moutain" have gone downhill in recent years - and that is correct. Yes, some people generically say to avoid Stone Mountain in general, but considering the trend there, would you if you were investing in a house want to risk moving into a good neighborhood if only 1/2 mile away that once good area is now crime infested?
