Texas native visiting Atlanta this week for mini vacation. I will be visiting the regular tourist traps, but I'm also looking for places to visit where the local single black professionals congregate. Any names for known coffee shops, jazz clubs, restaurants, or ect.. I'm male and in my late 30s and would prefer a similar aged crowd.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Try Atlantic Station for starters.

If you are into Jazz, give Sambuca Cafe a try. Its up in buckhead and should have the crowd you are looking for. Link to the website is below.

Sambuca ® Dine, drink and dance. Live music nightly.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm familiar with Sambuca as we have one here in Dallas. I also plan to visit the High musuem for their Friday night jazz. Anyone knows what the crowd is like at the High musuem on Friday jazz night?
