AAA's Triptik takes me through Missouri and Kansas, but I made that Denver to Chicago roadtrip before so have already done the Kansas thing, its WAY too long and boring. Thinking about heading toward Oklahoma City then up, but triptik is warning about strict enforcement areas. Has anyone gone that route? Is it worth the little extra time?

You might want to post this on the travel forum. I've seen similar questions answered there.

I went to college at The University of Oklahoma in Norman, 20 miles south of Oklahoma City. From Atlanta, I used to drive I-20 West, Take US 78 between birmingham & memphis, then caught I-40 west through Arkansas into Oklahoma. On that route, the worst state for speed patrols is Arkansas. While I was never pulled over for speeding, I was often extremely surprised by the numbers of patrols they had there. The other states are normal for patrols....seeing only one or two through the entire state.
