Default New Question: Inman Park and VaHi

Okay, now that our move is more probable, I will be posting tons of questions!
I have a middle schooler and a rising fifth grader. Of the 2 neighborhoods, Inman Park and VaHi, which one has more tweens/teens? I made the mistake in our community of buying a home in an area that has mostly retired folks or babies! We currently have to drive to play dates. Do you find that the families with younger kids (birth to say 7 yrs) tend to live in one place over the other and families with older kids tend to live in a different area? Or, is it pretty mixed and just the luck of the street(s) in which you buy? I drove through the areas a week or so ago while visiting, but could not get a sense of it all.

Hmmmm....I think it would be just the luck of the street.

My neighbor's son is in Inman Middle and I know that he has fellow schoolmates in the neighborhood too.

I'd go with finding a place that is walking distance to Inman Middle/Grady High. Your kids will make a lot of friends just walking to school and back. It's one of the best ways to meet new kids. My daughter's best friends are the ones with whom she walks home from school.
