This post actually gave me a lot to think about. I have been debating should I keep going to a mostly white public school or to a hbcu

The claim was made after the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) arrested 75 students at San Diego State University and shut down six fraternities - prestigious social organisations typically named with Greek letters.

Suspects include a student who was about to receive a criminal justice degree and another about to get a masters in homeland security.

For the parents of college students, the most shocking allegation by the DEA is that some San Diego frat houses, which provide accommodation for fraternity members as well as host social functions, may have been using profits from drug dealing to finance their own operations."

Oh and wasnt there a meth lab bust in a dorm at Georgetown University? People kill me with that "its harder at PWC's than HBCU" garbage. I attended both and unless you're going Ivy League neither is harder than the other. And FYI, out of the top 100 party schools in the nation there isnt ONE HBCU on the list. Im not even going to bother responding to flyboys posts smh

I have to agree with brownhornet. I graduated from an HBCU (Spelman) and attended a PWC (Florida State) as well...the classes from one school to the other weren't "harder or easier". I did have a better time (and felt like I was more accepted) at Florida State than I did at Spelman, though. Go figure.

Also, if I could go back, I probably would have attended a PWC, because those monthly payments to Sallie Mae are NOT a joke.
