Hey all. I recently graduated with a B.S. accounting degree and I'm thinking about moving to ATL with small children. (5,7,12) My home is finally sold and I ready to go. I would never have thought this move was an option but that all changed when I started getting some many call backs from Atlanta versus Orlando and Houston. I also can take me C.P.A. right away with no problem. I've been offered 3 government jobs in the Chamblee & Sandy Springs area. I don't have any family down there at all but I have a childhood friend that lives in Temple GA and loves it. I was wondering where decent churches, schools, housing, and grocery stores are. Please give me any helpful advice because I keep getting 30% good and 70% bad views on Atlanta as a whole. But trust it can't be worser than the hell hole I'm in in STL. Please Help

I lived in Decatur (South Dekalb County) and now live in Chamblee. I like Chamblee a lot. Remember that Atlanta is a HUGE city. Estimated about 5.5 million people in the metro area. All areas should not be judged the same.

If your employment is located in either Chamblee or Sandy Springs you have several options about where to live. NE ATL

If you want church recs--there are many places to worship here and many styles---state your preferences.
