Default Miss Georgia Milkshakes

The timeframe that I can recall the Miss georgia Ice Cream stores was early 1950s thru late 1960s. Did anyone remember the Miss Georgia on Euclid Ave. in Little Five Points?

That's the one I remember. It was close to the Thompson Boland Lee shoe store. When we got new shoes,we'd pay a visit to Miss Georgia as well. Always a big day!

Default Closer to Newsome's Shoes

The Newsome shoe store was on the other side of the Colonial Store and carried Poll Parrot children's shoes. There was a live parrot in the store, and an X-ray machine to assure your shoes were properly fitted!
