One thing Plaza Midtown has going for it is it is half a block from Marta which could give it an edge over the other two.

Plaza is very close to the interstate, so all but the east facing units probably have traffic noise (and pollution).

I live at METROPOLIS and have since it opened in 2002....LOVE IT! Well run, great location and the amenities floor is BEAUTIFUL...I like the other 2 blds u mentioned as well but since Im a Metropolis resident I have to plug....Midtown is the best hood in the city...well one of the best.... Metropolis is like Fort Knox to enter so security here is TIGHT... think about moving here, straights and gays get along well, just as in Manhatten !

Spire is a nice building, I seriously considered it.

I think Plaza has more college kids in it than Spire or Metropolis. I've heard of a lot more parties being hosted there than either of the other two. That can be fun but can also mean noise problems.

Spire is the newest and nicest in my opinion. Have you looked at Viewpoint at all? It is right across from Spire and just opened.

Unless you go out of your way to meet your neighbors you might never even meet them so I wouldn't worry too much about who else lives in the building (aside from noise issues). A lot of people with units in those places travel frequently and won't be around.

Actually of those 3, Plaza Midtown is the newest. Metropolis was the first, then Spire, then Plaza Midtown. And now, of course, they're trying to sell out Viewpoint (which has the prettiest amenities floor of all 4 of those buildings).

Plaza Midtown is the best location in my opinion (best pool, best amenities). You have a grocery store in the building (Publix) and great restaurants in your building. Additionally, you are literally across the street from MARTA, the subway. Georgia Tech is a nice area. Plaza Midtown is 2 blocks away from Technology Square, which is a newer Georgia Tech development. Georgia State is the ghetto university downtown (you mixed the two up). My husband and I are straight, and we live in midtown. Not only gays.
