I need to find a ride from ATL to Panama city, FL for June 1st Tuesday. If anyone has any suggestions I would be open to almost anything. I don't have a lot money. Renting a car would be $170 one way, flying would be $400 but can't find a flight, but is $50 but its a 17hr bus ride. Please someone give me any advice.

Ask a friend or family member to borrow their car. That is all I can think of! Sorry

That's crazy air fare for such a short distance. What a ripoff.

It's a long shot (especially given your time constraints), but one of these sites might help. They include places to hook up with others looking to share a ride.
Budget travel sites to keep you out of the red - USATODAY.com

Are you a student? Used to be a student ID could get you a cheap standby fare.

Sounds like you're in for a 17 hr bus ride. Wheels on the bus go round and round....
