Thinking about establishing a residency in LA in addition to Atlanta for work purposes. Anyone do this on a regular basis? How do you find the commute and do you have any tips?
Thanks!

My husband worked in Atlanta for two years and commuted home to NY on weekends (but that was an easy 2 hour flight with no time changes). It was miserable.

I don't understand why anyone would do this. I can understand the occasional visits for business but this would get old quickly if it became a routine. Also, with technology the way it is, why would you even need to do this?

As a side note, this post made me remember my 'wrong coast' theory: I believe I'm meant to live on the west coast because i usually stay up to at least 2am and I naturally wake up around 10 am.

I would think that impractical every week. I wouldn't do it. However if it's once a month or so forth that you need to commute, then yeah.

I want a second home in sb or sd someday but it's just along way and different world out there.
