This lends a lot of credence to the article in the latest Atlanta magazine. Carter basically stated that this would be the outcome.

Great news.

Finally! I used to live a block from this and it killed me to see them stop working on it and everything just sitting idle.

I really do hope it gets it back up and running again, though we should remember that he's said three times in the past already that things were "about to resume", too. Hopefully though this time will be for real. It would be nice to see that area finally get finished.

I'll believe it when I say it in this case. It'll be interesting to see who actually ends up opening in SOB

"Carter said Thursday he also has letters of intent from several large new tenants, including a movie theater with a bar and restaurant, a high-end bowling alley and an event facility for a local catering company. He also signed new restaurants, said Carter, who has termed the project the "Rodeo Drive of the South." He did not name the tenants."

A high-end bowling alley in Buckhead sounds awesome.

But I guess that movie theater with a bar and restaurant is going to compete with the Cobb CineBistro that is supposed to open at Town Brookhaven and the AMC Fork & Screen that is already in Buckhead?
