Yikes, ShelbyGirl1 without wheels!!!!!!!!! What's the world coming to??? Might I suggest something from the thread Mr. Cat posted about "Life in an Internet Car Forum..." Since you like sporty coupes/cabrios, the ideal car for your situation to tide you over until a new car arrives is a Mitsubishi Galant or Honda Civic Hybrid.

<<Ducks to avoid being hit by automotive tools from ShelbyGirl1's collection being hurled in my direction>>

Hopefully, the delay will not be longer than forecast for either of the new sets of wheels. Although, you could always pick up a Vespa for emergencies, too.

At this point, the Shelby Corbra up top....that may be the BMW Z8 underneath...but not quite sure! Both cars have been sold.
That's your garage? Nice!

Looks nicer than many peoples bedrooms.

Maybe you can rent a car for a month.

DH threatening to go rent me a MINI...over my dead body. I'd have to don a red wig and big bulbous nose!

I did, however, just get an e-mail for a "Huv-around"

Maybe you can look into buying a slightly used Alfa 8c Competizione? I've seen a red one speeding up the canyons on the Westside of LA and it's simply jaw-droppingly gorgeous.

You had me until I saw the "no AC"! 98 degrees here today with lots and lots of humidity. Feels like a sauna out there! But who knows....give me a few more days without a car and I may just jump at it...ac or no ac!
