We are coming up for the weekend to visit and was wondering if there are any decent night clubs that plays like hip hop dance music? We are planning on going out Saturday night. Any info would be appreciated.

The vibe in Pure is semi-upcale and diverse. Tropicabana is a latino vibe and latin club. The Vue is mostly pop/techno but still some hip-hop. Cream tends to stick to mostly all hip-hop. Pure and Tropicabana are located downtown. So you may like them because they're located near other clubs...

I go downtown at night all the time. It's perfectly fine. Use commen sense and you'll be ok. Augusta isn't like Bankhead or anything.

To be honest, you should try 100 Laurens over in downtown Aiken. They always have 3 dj's (Kenny Ray, Smurf, greatwhitefunk) spinning on 4 turntables and an awesome sound system. This coming up Saturday night it starts at 10pm and runs to 2am. The crowd is great and everyone has a fun time. They play a lot of hip hop and upbeat house, mixed in with some old school. You get a really nice variety with these guys.
