The last time I went was last year, so you might be correct...

I should have mentioned the French Bistro and Cajun categories earlier.. If you enjoy Cajun food then make a trip to the French Market Grille in the Surrey Center.. The La Masion, Five Oclock Bistro, and Bistro 491 are restaurants offering the french bistro concept...

There are plenty of Mexican restaurants. A few of the shusi restaurants (Osaka, etc) serve good Korean food. Shishkebab in Evans has Turkish food. Aiken has a very authentic Cuban restaurant.

I can second the vote for the Cuban restaurant in Aiken. My grandmother was Cuban and cooked a lot so I couldn't wait to try it when I was in town for business. This place rocked. It's called Cafe Rio Blanco.

The owner of the Rio Blanco is Cuban. His mom often works the kitchen.

Last weekend, we ate at Pho Bac, a relatively new Vietnamese restaurant in Evans. Pho is good. Other dishes are hit or miss. Durian milk shake is delightful.
