I don't know but most meteorologists (local/national) had it being a "cooler and wetter" Summer this year... oops. It's like Moses lives in my neighborhood... i'm surprised Clarks Hill isn't lower than it is.

Meh... Global warming scientist being charged everywhere with falsifying their "proof" for global warming... it's just hot as chit this Summer! Thankfully, it's almost over. Hopefully. Maybe. I think.

Record breaking day
--Don Doman says the heat has ruined his summer plans. "I don't even want to go fishing, get on a boat, or anything," he told News 12. He says you not only could fry an egg on the ground right now. "You'd probably be able to barbecue a whole hog," he said. But Doman wasn't the hottest person in North Augusta. Down the road, firefighters battled to contain massive flames --flames that reached so high they singed tree limbs above. "No firefighters were hurt or injured. We did call EMS as a precautionary matter --just to be here in case they were needed," said Sgt. Tim Thornton of North Augusta Public Safety. And Melanie Chavous with North Augusta Public Safety says that's an important measure right now. "We have record-breaking temperatures," she said. "They said it was supposed to be 103. On a fire scene, it probably feels like 200." She says firefighters have to balance saving lives while protecting their own. "A lot of people think that they're going to be able to do what they usually do on a fire in the middle of the night ... but, you know, your limitations --you have to know them," she told News 12. The gear adds an additional 60 pounds to a firefighter's body weight. The temperature inside the gear can be over 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Chavous says firefighters have to be smart to avoid heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
