What? I thought SAVANNAH ARTS ACADEMY was the best. NO WAIT! I mean COLUMBUS HIGH'S IB MAGNET! No ... no ... maybe it was DEKALB MAGNET FOR ARTS & SCIENCES? Or WALTON HIGH in East Cobb? Oh yeah, I remember now: The best high school in Georgia is WARE MAGNET in Waycross! Yep, Waycross!

And in case you missed my point, every one of the above schools has in recent years been named GEORGIA'S BEST! These rankings mean nothing. I would much rather celebrate a successful COMPREHENSIVE high school that enrolls a cross section of demographics and achievers and helps ALL kids succeed rather than just those "special" gifted ones hand-chosen for the magnet.

This isn't the first time Davidson was the only school from Georgia ranked in the top 100...

The group of students at Davidson come from a diverse background(Race, income, etc)... The white population is 44%, black 39%, multiracial 9%, asian 4%, and hispanic 3%..
