Okay, but I don't have an account on either of the sites.

Amloving posted on one of the threads how the mayor said to expect two announcements related to the corporate Park. I know one of them is going to become Georgia Power, and I'm thinking the wood pellet facility is the other..

The news article below might be the key..

On Sept. 18, the company filed a similar application for a location near Warrenton, outside Augusta. That application was terminated earlier this month, but it described a plant worth $140 million. Warren County Commission Chairman John Graham didn’t specifically say whether he was still working with Enova, but he said there hasn’t been an agreement.

“We’ve been working with several companies,” Graham said Friday.

In September, The Augusta Chronicle reported that Enova is planning a $110 million wood pellet plant near Trenton, S.C., and planned two more facilities in Georgia, including one near Augusta. Those locations were not discussed.

I guess will have to wait and see what happens.

Work continues on area's biggest economic-development projects | Mobile Augusta

Closer to the airport, the ground sits ready for Rockwood Performance Additives. Company President Andrew Ross said construction will begin in earnest in 2013 for its $115 million plant that will produce synthetic iron oxide pigments used in construction, coatings and plastics. “We’re in the detailed engineering phase, which is a precursor to getting boots on the ground and working on the foundation,” Ross said. There should be more activity on the site in June or July, he said. It will be the first new iron oxide pigment production plant built in the U.S. in nearly 35 years.

One of Augusta’s oldest private schools is now designing a 28-acre expansion campus that could have sports facilities and outdoor science classes. Episcopal Day School announced Thursday that it had bought land on Flowing Wells Road. It is the latest project for a 1-mile stretch of Flowing Wells between Wrightsboro and Belair Frontage roads. The once agricultural and residential road is now home to Automatic Data Processing, an apartment complex, a city fire station and a short commercial strip called Benchmark Drive.

I like this! There should be talk of trying to get this in North Augusta since a lot of them work over here.

The bus system is average, and not very good. Companies(i.e Starbucks) tend to look at the public transportation system when deciding on locations in the US.

Leaders have scheduled a workshop in the next two weeks to take all their ideas from today and decide how quickly they can implement them. They also talked about adding routes into Columbia County and North Augusta.
