I was looking through some of the current developments, and the majority of departments have signed off on the $1 million canal expansion.

Pretty much anything woould help. It would be nice if they would appropriately stripe the 13th street bride to allow a small cycling lane Northbound. I ride to work in North augusta and riding the elevated sidewalk on the bridge is hairy, especially when there are pedestrians. It should be noted that my riding the sidewalk is illegal but I'll risk it until they stripe the road...not that THAT will prevent being hit. Once across the bridge the Greenway is excellent.
