Hi Katrina. I recently read that, ADP is going to Augusta. Maybe that company interests you. If I remember correctly, their web address is ADP.com. Good luck.

We've lived here for 4 years and had a bear of a time finding a decent job! It really depends on who you know and what skills you have. Anything medical is where its at. I couldn't find a decent job for 6 months so I decided to go back to school and become a nurse. If school is an option, there are several good and affordable schools in the area.

Best of luck to you!

You should google augusta richmond county and columbia county ga to get more information. T-mobile and ADP are bringing new jobs to augusta, u should check on the augusta chronicle or yahoo jobs in augusta. If u google richmond county ga u should get city links.

It really depends on what your expectations are and what field you want to be in. Do not expect to find a lot of high paying professional jobs in the Augusta area outside of the medical field. As someone said.. if you have a nursing background or a clinic technician you should not have a problem. Beyond that.. most of the new jobs have been limited to customer service call centers, low end retail and restaurants. If you have a college degree.. it should help a great deal.. because alot of people in Augusta don't.. so that would put you ahead of the pack. The main problem in Augusta is that even low paying jobs get snatched up fast because of the relatively high unemployment rate of unskiled workers. The other problem in Augusta as far as jobs go is nepotism...If you didn't grow up in Augusta or have family in Augusta with the right last name and conections.. you will be out of the loop for many office and managerial level jobs. This has even been a problem with teaching positions and jobs in local government. Your best bet is anything medical.
