Columbia County leaders take back approval for Lights of the South
Columbia County has now revoked the approval that they gave to "Lights of the South".
What the heck is going on here? They said they "mistakenly gave them approval" to operate. Really? And it took them YEARS to figure that out? That just makes Columbia County commissioners look STUPID in my opinion. If you make that big of a mistake, and it takes you YEARS to figure that out, you're a complete moron. That owner of LOTS must have really made someone mad about the whole water park thing and now they are punishing him along with the rest of the Columbia County residents for it.

Columbia County better stop taking pages from the Richmond County commission are they'll scare off a lot of new business.

Recently several things the Columbia County commission has done have raised eyebrows in the community. Will we ever elect politicians who are willing to do things right? True, The Richmond county commission is a joke but recently Columbia county seems to be trying to out do them. This is just the latest in a series of blunders.

Augusta commission have a lot more to deal then CC commission who really just deal with houses market. They really haven't been challenge on make tuff decision until now.

One of the reasons I am not a fan of Coulumbia County. Just like Fayette County where my parents live, it is run by Tea Party NIMBY commisioners who vote down anything of interest.
