Trader Joe's stores only average 8-12K square feet. If those plans are accurate, then that's much too large for a Trader Joe's.

If that's the case, it might be Sprout's. They are making a major push to expand in the Southeast and they're using Atlanta as their hub. They recently opened stores in Birmingham and Huntsville.

they should do a REAL destination place out there kind of like the city walk outside of Universal Studios in Orlando. Not as large a scale, but a place where people can park then walk down and enjoy a show at a type of smaller amphitheater, shops to walk to and restaurants in the same area with parking in a side parking deck so you aren't walking through a parking lot to get to each place.

I will honestly be surprised if its a Sprouts as they are still focused on building up around Atlanta itself.
I could see them building here in 3 to 5 years though when they are finished there but not any time sooner since they dont have anything in Columbia or SC atm.

According to the Buzz on Biz segment of WRDW yesterday, construction has started on phase 2 of Mullins Crossing. A formal announcement on what tenants are coming is scheduled to occur in a few weeks. It should open sometime late next year.

Thinking about the upscale grocer, has there been speculation of Lucky's Market?

I haven't heard any speculation, but they could be a possibility.

I'm still leaning more towards Fresh Market because I heard the Masters want to buy the lot they are on and the lot the Publix sits on over at National Hills.
