The CW Augusta and WJBF collaborate every evening at ten to present a local news program. Very convenient for those who can't wait until eleven for CSRA and national news.
The tv listings show the news scheduled at ten but the last few days a visit to the CW channel shows fifteen minutes or so of nonstop commercials followed by some outdated sitcom. No news though. What's going on? If they advertise it shouldn't they show it or explain why?
Maybe truth in advertise doesn't apply to the CSRA.

There is no news listed at 10pm on the CW ( The CW Television Schedule )

Are you sure you're not thinking of WFXG Fox 54? That's the only 10:00 news I'm aware of. And that is filmed and produced in Savannah. If I were a betting man, I would presume they aren't doing the newscast over the holiday break because they are shortstaffed. Though it does appear there are still newscasts up at Watch WFXG FOX 54 - WFXG FOX54 Augusta - Your News One Hour Earlier
