WAGT sold to WRDW. WJBF anchors no longer doing the CW network's ten o'clock news. I filled up both sides of my score card so I can't keep up. It seems like a bunch of people have or will lose their jobs. Now that's a shame. From what I've read, there seems to be some bad blood involved which is partly responsible for the job loss.

Gray Television and WRDW News 12 Welcome WAGT NBC 26

And yes people are going to lose their jobs but hey its all good after all mergers of media companies never ever cause problems for the consumer and only lead to lower prices in the end, I mean look at how cable prices have gone lower and lower as comcast has grown bigger?

Maybe your cable prices have gone down, but not mine with the second largest area cable company. They raise my rates every couple of months or so - without any explanation or recourse.

Mildly related. I bought a digital antenna to hook up to my television, but I can't pick up GPTV anyone know how I can get it to pick up?

Depends on where you're located as to which direction you need to aim it, but the GPTV antenna is located in a completely different direction than the rest of the locals. So unless you plan on moving your antenna frequently, you won't get it if you have it pointed where you can get the major networks. Those are all located in the Beech Island, SC area, but the GPTV antenna (WCES) is located just south of Fort Gordon. AntennaWeb - Home can tell you where to aim your antenna based on your location.

Some of the anchors are doing spots on WJBF but most seem to be gone off the air. I really hope they find jobs, losing one's job is a big bummer.
