But if I want a great quality burger and fries I go to Five Guys. If you want frozen meat and potatoes you can go to the rest. Plain and simple

If Augusta ever got In-n-Out, ya'll would all be forgetting about 5 Guys. Double Double Animal Style.

Do not think that will ever happen. Dallas and Houston is the furtherest East they have reached and those are major cities. Atlanta would happen before Augusta.

I believe they have a long-term strategy to come to the east coast. Yes so far Texas is as close as they get and yeah Atlanta would likely get them first but I am sure Augusta would be on their radar once they start marching east. To me the quality of their burgers is better than 5 Guys and are a great value too. Now I will give 5 Guys an edge on their fries which are more like English style chips.

Farmhaus is so much better than Five Guys, it's not even funny, for the same price too. Great burger.

And y'all, In n Out ain't coming this far east.

The owner said this just a few months ago:

Quote:
“I don’t see us stretched across the whole U.S. I don’t see us in every state. Take Texas—draw a line up and just stick to the left. That’s in my lifetime,” Snyder says.
She is 36 years old.

Again don't hold your breath hoping for an In-n-Out anywhere in Georgia, because it ain't happening.

I tried an In and Out once, I thought it wasn't all that special, but I think I had it built up in my head from hearing about it so much I expected something magical. I want to try it again, Animal Style.

I think both Farmhaus and Five Guys are overrated. Five Guys might look like fast food, but their prices are restaurant prices. So those portions people rave about, they are paying for. The food is fresh, but not really seasoned much. It is kinda plain jane to me.

If I was downtown and wanted a burger I would go to Sports Center before Farmhaus or Whiskey Bar. It does not have the ambiance of those two (its a hole in the wall), and they only take cash, but their burgers are good. If not downtown I would go to Village Deli. If in Evans I would go to Ole time Burgers.
