Lithonia, Conyers, and Covington are too off I-20. Closer and closer to Atlanta and Augusta will become.

How do Thomson, Grovetown, and Hephzibah stack up against each other?

Thomson is a nice small town, but it is about 30 miles from downtown Augusta.. so it all depends I suppose where you plan to work. Hephzibah is about 20 miles from downtown. Grovetown is going to be the most convenient of the three. It's about 15 miles from downtown, but It's right off I20..and you have a good bit of development that way. If convenience is key, then I would suggest Grovetown out of those 3 choices.
