Here are some census estimates for Richmond County from 2006 to 2007: 197,341 in 2006 to 197,372. Wow! What whopping numbers! A whopping 31 people gained in a year. Now for comparison here is Greenville County from 2006 to 2007: 416,509 in 2006 to 428,243. Hmmm. Thats an 11,734 gain in just one year! Now if you want me to go deeper I can show you where you guys lost population over the last 10 years. Thats how you measure true growth.

But I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. People aren't flocking to Augusta.

The article is on new construction projects. Why do you keep talking about population in a county. Augusta was on the list and no other city in south carolina or georgia was. How many people greenville county gained from 2006 to 2007. Still won't put greenville on the list. Let it go

What new construction projects? The stalled Village at Riverwatch development? The stalled watermark project downtown? I can't find anything getting built in Augusta. Whoever ranked Augusta that high on that list is obviously lying somewhere.

If that article makes you happy instead of figures then no one can change that. Just like no one can change the lack of amenities there. Augusta is a cesspool. Thats why they have lost people over the last 10 years. You're being naive.

They're in Richmond County but not included in Richmond County's census? That is a lie and you know it. Census doesn't work like that.
