Default James Brown Boulevard part of urban revitilization

A nationwide housing crisis is taking it's toll on the whole economy. Meanwhile, the city of Augusta is planning to fling open the doors to a first of it's kind downtown gated community. It's called the Enclave on James Brown Boulevard.

It is a $600,000 investment in the city's urban core.
There are new homes for sale on a street named in honor of Augusta's native son...James Brown.

New gated community an investment in Augusta's urban core

Library, judicial center, shopping center and more homes going up on 9th street downtown.

More inner city renewal. New improvements on laney-walker

New construction of homes, james brown townhome community, and commercial facilities such as the Richmond County Health Department, Tabernacle Family Life Center, the ANIC building, the Laney High School football stadium and the repaving of Laney-Walker Boulevard major signs that the area is recapturing its former glory.

One good thing about the james brown townhomes is that they're nice. And only start at $140,000 so they're affordable too. Alot of people are moving to downtown.

Man leads association in rebuilding Laney-Walker

Laney walker won't look the same in the upcoming years. MCG and University are growing at a fast pace nearby. I'm glad to see Augusta making the inner city nice by investing money. The tee center will bring almost a million dollars a year to the inner city. Neighborhoods like harrisburg, bethlehem, laney walker. More people are already moving downtown. Now we will start to get more ppl. Moving not in downtown by still close by.
