Skyliner,I was just thinking about your posts earlier on that thread that was recently closed and how "refreshing it was that someone from Greenville,did not get on the "band wagon"with the otheres in all of the "city bashing"and comparisions between the two cities.Your posts I thought was very "balanced"and you complemented,the town by saying,"Augusta,is a growing city that is making progress,just like greenville was before the downtown area was revitalized".I want you to know that I do appreciate that very much.However,if you have been following all of the posts very closely,both on the Augusta,and Greenville forums,between me and othere posteres from greenville,you should know,that my posts have only been "responces"back to all the nagative posts made by otheres.The thread motonenterprises made was totally uncalled for and in light of "heated debates"from just a few weeks ago,he should have know it would"open the door"for controversy.I think you should know too,that in many of my posts,I have asked for one thing,"THAT THIS CITY BASHING AND COMPARISIONS BETWEEN AUGUSTA AND GREENVILLE BE STOPPED".The fact that it hasn't,it's not my fault.I getno joy or pleasure from having to stand in defence of my hometown against all of the arrogrance from certain memberes in Greenville and I don't understand why people in Greenville are so on the "defensive"against Augusta anyway.No one on the Augusta Forums,including me,have started any threads,many any nagative posts or comparisions between Greenville and Augusta and there is no proof to show they have.What more can I say,"PEOPLE IN GREENVILLE,PLEASE<I"m ASKING YOU AS NICE AS I KNOW HOW,PLEASE LEAVE US AND OUR CITY ALONE.IF YOU CAN'T SAY ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT AUGUSTA,JUST DON'T SAY NOTHING AT ALL."Now,I feel like,"the balls"in there corner,If nothing else is said,I will cease to say anything futher,and just maybe you can have some influence here too,but I hope that you or anyone else in Greenville doesn't think,that people there can say whatever they want about "our town"here and everybody's just gonna "roll over and play dead".No people need to think about "there actions"before they create "city bashing threads"and post nagatively about someone's else town.There are consequences here,so again,"the balls"in there ccorner.

Another thing I want to bring out,is that "perception",is everything."The people make The Town",and not the other way around.I've tried to stress to memberes there in Greenville,the image you portray to people in other forums who read your posts go along way in the "perception",they have of the kind of place you live in.While Greenville is truly,a lovly city,the memberes on the forum,give very poor representation of the kind of people living there.It's sad,that people from other forums,"click over",to Greenville,where they see all manner of bickering between me and otheres from Greenville,and think"how stupid and childish it all is coming from what's suppose to be mature and responsible adults.Then they see all the nagative "city bashing",and comparisions made between the two cities,and get the sense of "an air of arrogrance",from Greenville memberes about there city,as if they think ,they are "suprior" or "better"than people living in Augusta,and really to talk about "our town"is also,to talk about us.So I ask,Is that the image that people in Greenville want to portray to otheres?I believe the answer to that will be found in "future threads".
