Default How is the real estate market for selling a home?

I have a dilema. I have been offered a promotion at work, but it would require that I move out of state. My employer is not willing to buy my house if I can't sell it. I live in Martinez in the Timer Ridge Candlewood area. There aren't many homes for sale in our neighborhood, but it seems like they spend a lot of time on the market. What are the prospects for selling a home this close to the holidays?

The best way to determine that is to have a real estate agent do a CMA (a market analysis) on your home. I am a real estate agent in the area and I can assure you that this is no time to make a guess. Taking a good look at the area's actual sale prices, days on the market, etc. will be the best approach to determine an appropriate asking price. The agent you choose will have to come to your house to see it first, if you want the CMA done most accurately. The actual report can be done in a couple of hours. Good luck.
