You are right. There is not going to be a haunted house in Evans this year. The county made its move and Plantation Blood will not happen this year . By the way, I never said anything about Grovetown not having a haunted house did I. That is right, Plantation Blood will still operate but it will open NEXT weekend in Grovetown. . I talked to the man himself and he said there WILL be a haunted house in Augusta this year and it will be on a real plantation. He said the website Plantation Blood :: Haunted House and Haunted Houses in Augusta, GA will be updated by this weekend.

As for Plantation Blood, I had actually volunteered to be a "monster" for it, but not only did the guy not ever call me back (not to mention the fact that every single time I went down there to talk to him in person him and a group of people were always just sitting around drinking beers and smoking cigarettes instead of working on the house), but also, someone told me that they heard from someone "official" that Plantation Blood got shut down due to failing the fire code inspection from faulty wiring or something, so I cannot even say if Plantation Blood is still happening... I REALLY hope they just "fixed" the problem, b/c it looked like it was gonna be sick! (in a good way!)

Details!
Did he say if the NEW location was still going to be as incredibly large and half outdoors as the original? That would kinda suck if there isn't going to be a haunted trail, haunted corn field, THE crystal lake, and Leatherface's actual HOUSE...

I think it will be mostly indoors but you should see the house http://www.plantationblood.com/images/DSCN0159.JPG . And there is also a barn that looks like it will be part of the attraction as well as a large swimming pool. I am not sure if the pool will be part of it though. Here is a birds eye view of the property. http://www.bing.com/maps/default.asp...4588&encType=1
