Apple store will open doors Saturday
Apple will open its store at the Augusta Mall on Saturday, according to its retail Web site.
The store in the promenade section of the mall will open at 10 a.m.
According to an email from the company, the first 1,000 visitors will receive a free Apple T-shirt.
A building permit for the store was issued in May.

I rode past the store and didn't even notice it was open. I forgot how the Apple logo is printed outside, instead of the word Apple spelled out. The store rocks though! No need for Augusta residents to drive to Atlanta anymore except to use the airport or purchase high-end fashion.
