I have accepted a job at the airport in Augusta. I will be comiing from New York to Georgia for my new employment. I have been told Hephzibah has some new subdivisons recently built. Can you recommend any subdivisions/area's in Hephzibah, Blythe, Mcbean, Bath with good elementary school's.

Zip code 30815 population is about 55,000. Hephzibah city is 6-7,000 people. If you live in Hephzibah you don't have to pay city taxes. Mcbean is a area in Hephzibah. Blythe is its own city. Most of the new subdivisions which are popping up everyday are in Hephzibah/Mcbean.

Good elementary school's in that area Hephzibah, Mcbean, Blythe, Gracewood, and Goshen.

Nice places to live in Hephzibah are Arcadia, New Hope Estates, Goshen, Hunter's mill, and Big Bend.

The ones mentioned are all pretty good, but I would avoid anything right around Tobacco Rd. Goshen is a well established neighborhood with a golf course... pretty good schools.
You may also want to consider North Augusta, SC since you can easily get on I520 and be at the airport in about 12 to 15 mins. South Richmond County does have some nice neighborhoods, you just need to choose wisely, because there are some areas that are not so nice with iffy schools. The Hephzibah, McBean and Goshen area are pretty nice.

Most of the neighborhood's on tobacco road are perfectly fine to me. As tobacco rd is a very long road that cuts through windsor spring, peach orchard, and hwy 56 mike padgett. Maybe you are reffering to the part of tobacco rd between windsor spring and Ft. Gordon. Which is still 100,000 to 180,000 dollar houses. Also Tobacco rd is in 30815 but not in the city of Hephzibah. Gracewood & Cambridge are on Tobacco rd when you cross over windsor spring and are very nice area's.

Hephzibah is where the growth is going. They built two elementary school's a yr and a half ago. One mile apart from one another. Now they're building a new middle school somewhere near brown rd. The Lakes at Spirit Creek, Walker Hill, Spirit Pointe, Arcadia, New Hope estates, and Spread Oak plantation are the newer exclusive communities in the city limits of Hephzibah. You will find more homes in the 250,000 to over 350,000 range. Goshen not in the city is a nice area with its own elementary school.

There are some dicey subdivisions off Tobacco Rd between windsor springs rd and the fort.. the better neighborhoods are going to be south of Willis Foreman Rd going toward Hephzibah.

I'd suggest looking at McDade Rd.. easy access to airport.. and you can get an acre or more if you want.
