Hephzibah
I am relocating to Augusta sometime in October. I am currently in Louisville. I have a few questions regarding the area if I could get some locals to answer them for me, it will really help my desicion. I have a job in Augusta when we move but not my wife.
How is the job market in the call center & customer service ?
What are nice subdivisons in Hephzibah 45 minutes to Augusta? What is the average price of an home in Hephzibah?

Why did you decide on Hephzibah? I am only asking because there are several Augusta areas that you should consider in your process. There are many affordable houses closer to Augusta, unless you are trying to stay in Hephzibah for a job?
With gas prices these days, you should make sure you do all your research on the proximity of your residence to your job, as well as, city attractions, etc.
Hope that helps!

Are you living in Louisville, GA??? If so, then I can understand your choice of Hephzibah.. as it is on the way to Louisville, so I guess it would put you closer to visiting friends and family that still live there. Generally more of your jobs are going to be on the westside, as well as more shopping and dining. I lived in hephzibah many years ago...it wasn't my cup of tea. It's not a bad place by any means, and if you like a more rural environment then it would probably be a good pick for you. I just hated to be having to constantly drive to the westside to do any decent shopping or dining. I was out in Hephzibah recently and although it has developed more somewhat from when I lived out there, it still has no where near the development on the westside. But if you don't mind driving, then it should be just fine.

Diamond lakes and Lakes at Spirit Creek are two of my favorite Hephzibah neighborhood's.

I don't so much think of that area as Hephzibah... Hephzibah to me is further south... it is an actual city with defined city limits. Hephzibah pretty much starts right about where the windsor spring rd goes over the railroad tracks and then all the way south to the Burke County line. Diamond Lakes and Spirit Creek are South Augusta.
