TX to GA! Need 300K neighborhood in West Augusta
Looking for neighborhoods in the 300k range. Me and my husband are making a trip to Augusta. In a couple of weeks from today. He has a job offer downtown.

The neighborhood's on stevens creek are very nice. Some of them have a Martinez address but are still in West Augusta. The other's are in Martinez-columbia county those are nice too. But I'm assuming you want to stay in Richmond over Columbia.
Other's in West Augusta Lake Aumond, Lakemont, Camellia Gardens, Dorchester, Aumond Heights.

Take a look at Conifer Place, Fox Hall, Waverly. Close to all the shopping.

How about smack dab right downtown and be a part of the revitalization of a city?

Main thing you have to decide is whether you want to be in Augusta's Richmond County or Columbia County.. with that budget those are the two areas that you will probably be choosing from.
Richmond county will be more downtown feel, older homes, lot of character, etc.
Columbia county is about 15-25 min drive to most jobs, newer developments, as well as newer shopping, etc.
It is personal preference... let me know if school systems is also I consideration for you and I can shed some light on the differences.

Belair Hills on belair road has new homes and plenty of land. If you want to build your own. Its located in the new West Augusta. Jimmie dyess & belair road area. Fast growing area with new developments.

West Augusta is the most diverse area in the metro. New huge lifestyle centers Wheeler town park, Village riverwatch getting built. West richmond has Augusta mall and Augusta exchange too. Several neighborhoods with 300k homes older and newer neighborhoods.
