Default New store coming to Augusta Exchange

Buybuy Baby's first Georgia location will be in Augusta, opening in late July, corporate spokeswoman Catherine Gentile said.

Buybuy Baby sells clothing, strollers, car seats, furniture, toys and developmental products for infants and toddlers.

That's great news. Looks like the former CompUSA space won't be vacant for long... Hopefully another retailer will fill the Circuit City space. Great news especially in a tough economy.

Ashley Furniture has returned to AE. It's open in a new building.

Hobby Lobby announced that its new store in Augusta Exchange will open on Jan. 4.
The arts and crafts store is filling the former 65,000 square foot Ashley Furniture store on Robert C Daniel Parkway.

Augusta Exchange added Buybuy baby, Ashley Furniture, Hobby Lobby, Basset's ice cream, and AT&T wireless. I don't expect circuit city to be vacant much longer.
