Question about Augusta from Texas resident
I was wondering if anyone new the name of the housing area, right near downtown. The houses are located on a hill, and the roads are paved with brick roads. I have absolutely no idea what the name of this area is, and I was wondering if anybody had the slightest clue. Also, if they knew what the price range was for these beautiful homes.

I know that they're somewhere near the bus station.

Would that be the Forest Hills area? Park Avenue is brick-paved.

No clue. I know they're rather old, stately homes.

Yep, Forest Hills or "The Hill Area" (In and around Augusta State University) Considered part of West Augusta, homes vary from probably 300k to over a million. However.....I am possibly going to be relocating from the Augusta area this summer and I am finding out that Augusta has some of the cheapest real estate in the country! Hands down. Good news for you, bad for me!

Well, see that's just the thing. I know for a fact that it's not in the ASU area. That's really the only part of town that I'm real familiar with.
