I found a couple of homes around Stevens creek road . How bad do you find the traffic on Riverwatch during the morning and afternoon rush hour? The school's Lakeside and Westside are they good ? One located in Columbia and the other in Richmond.

I don't think you will find it too bad. Especially coming from Cleveland. I would guess you may get caught at a couple lights near I-20 interchange. The rest should be smooth sailing.

Welcome to Augusta!!!

Buy a home in West Augusta over Martinez. Westside far better school than Lakeside.

I might agree that West Augusta is better for housing (as far as potential growth), but Westside > Lakeside? Does anyone else share this opinion?

Riverwatch does get backed up most days. I don't know yet if construction on the saint sebastian will make the traffic better or worse. When riverwatch turns into oolumbia county its due to be widen in the next 2 years.

I drive down Riverwatch all of the time at different times of the day. The traffic never gets terribly bad at all. You may encounter a brief delay (5 minutes or so) but that's it

I moved to Augusta a couple of years ago. I spent a lot of time comparing Richmond county/Columbia County.

If you exclude the Richmond county magnets schools, every Columbia county school beat Richmond county schools on the cRTC scores.

I exclude the magnet schools because you are not guaranteed admission; you need to apply.

My daughter is in second grade. Last week in her class of 22, there was teacher, a teacher's aide and 4 PARENTS working there all day. I think the parental involvement is amazing.

If anyone has any new CRTC score comparisons that shows the situation has changed, I would love to see them.
