O.K. about the jobs---Last post for tonite---For those who didn't know, the baseball park will be built next year. If the land transfer is approved by the state legislature, the 40 million dollar mixed use facility will began next fall. If the land transfer didn't have to be approved, it would've have started fall of this year.-------- Good night and God Bless... Augusta>g-ville.....

The mix use baseball stadium in downtown Augusta. Will be built from tax allocation districts, bonds, and private donations. Not taxpayer money.

According to the latest Census 2007-2008 Metro Augusta is growing faster than Metro Chattanooga. Augusta in 2009 has caught up with Coumbia and Greenville. Augusta is closing in on Charleston. By 2015 it will be ahead of them all. You can add other nearby cities Savannah and Greensboro if you want too.

Metro Columbia is 710k.. Greenvillle 613k...Augusta 550k

GDP Columbia 25... Greenville...21...Augusta 17

Opening in 2010

4,000 high-paying and high-tech jobs. Watch the median income and GDP in Augusta go up significantly.

tax allocation districts and bonds are various forms of taxpayer financing.. they must have voter approval.. as they are backed by property taxes.

Greenville County is adding more people every year than Richmond County. Greenville County has more people than Richmond County. How is Richmond County going to pass Greenville County? In fact, Richmond County has lost people over the last eight years: http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet...rd=&_industry= See how smart people from Augusta are? Oh and I can post pictures of a building going up with cranes attached too: http://www.triangleconstruction.com/m@b_may09/index.htm

Ummm...no it hasn't: Augusta-Richmond County (balance), Georgia - Population Finder - American FactFinder 195,182 in 2000 to 192,142 in 2007 is not positive growth. Now let's take a look at Greenville County: http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet...rd=&_industry= 379,616 in 2000 to 438,119 in 2008 is positive growth. Isn't math amazing?

Then why didn't we vote on the Gilbert Manor property. The city issued bonds for the project.
