Default Do you believe in regionalism?

Clarks Hill Partnership, designed to promote economic development, of which recreational tourism is an increasingly significant component. The partnership has brought the BASS Weekend Series National Championship to Wildwood Park.

The 13-county Central Savannah River Unified Development Authority, which helps identify regional projects for larger sites.

“We’re looking for something larger that would not compete with our existing county parks – 500 to 1,500 acres minimum. We plan to build the relationships and intergovernmental agreements to share investment as well as revenue.”

Tom Jordan, chairman of the CSRA Unified Development Authority

CSRA Regional Priorities

Development of the mega-site industrial park (CSRA Regional Industrial Park) in Warren County off I-20.

Development of the Lincoln County Convention Center along Clarks Hill Lake.

Completion of the Fall Line Freeway and Savannah River Parkway

four-laning GA 17 and US 78 from Jenkins to Wilkes Counties

Infrastructure sharing between local governments (including water, sewer, natural gas, and broadband services)

Marketing of Georgia’s Technology Corridor between Athens and Augusta

Some these projects I've never heard of, for example, Georgia’s Technology Corridor.what is that soppose to be? The FLF should be a priority for the CSRA but the SRP is already complete I hear. I wish it would become interstate status some day because that would greatly benefit Augusta.
