Reptile-friendly renting near Ft Gordon?
Hello, everyone!
My wife and I will be transferring to Fort Gordon in Feb or March, 2010.
We have no kids, and live a very quiet lifestyle with impeccable references.
We are looking to rent a property that allows aquarium pets since we have ball pythons (non-venomous pet snakes). The pets are kept in secure cages and are fed frozen rodents only. We are hoping to rent a house, apartment, or large loft for the next three to four years.
I am trying to be ahead of the game, since there are many owners who will rent to a family with a dog that might defecate where it wants to and chew whatever it can, but may be apprehensive when it comes to renting to reptile keepers.
I would love to find any information there might be about owners/managers who might be willing to rent to a mature military family for the next few years. If you are one, or know of one, or have any ideas that might help us find a place, please let us know!
