Thinking of moving to this area next year? Would like diverse area with good school. House on at least 1 acre. Am I looking in the right place? Any info would be great.

Why is this posted in here? Milledgeville is 20+ miles from Macon, its over an hour from Augusta.
Anyway, Milledgeville is nice little city (more like large town than a city). It has beautiful architecture.

Again, most of Georgia outside of ATL just has a heavy influence of black, white, and pretty much nothing else. Milledgeville/Baldwin County would be perfect example of this.....Its pretty much a 50/50 ....60/40 type of split...Black/White.

If thats diverse to you, than yes.

There should be plenty of areas just out from the cities limits for what you're looking for.
Not sure about the schools, Baldwin High seems nice though.

Default Milledgeville, Ga. 'GREAT PLACE TO LIVE'

Look in the Oaks at Willow Lake, off of Lowe road. It's a beautiful subdivision, quiet, friendly people, lots are over an acres with a neighborhood pond, and in a convenient location. There are some homes for sale and also some lots still available.
Milledgeville is a nice, small town but has enough places to shop and eat.
I lived there for 3 years and really miss it.
Good luck.
