Default The building of the Calhoun Expressway

Does anyone know the story of the Calhoun Expressway? I'd like to know when it was built, how much it cost, who was for and against it, and how it came to be named. Thank you.

If you don't know any of this, why does it matter? It's just a name

Who labeled them as racist's? More than likely someone with an agenda.

The civil war wasn't about slavery, that was Federal propaganda. It was about land/property/control.

If you don't believe that, look at the current situation this country is in.

The Civil War was over Slavery, just as much as Operation Iraqi Freedom is about Weapons of Mass Destruction
