Downtown, Ft. Gordon, West Augusta and the Medical District all have huge construction projects.

Ft. Gordon has two buildings over 16 floors. The NSA will add to Ft. Gordon's skyline.

West Augusta has several 5 to 10 floor buildings along I-20 btw wheeler rd and the I-20/I-520 interchange. And along I-520 btw Wrightsboro rd and the I-20/I-520 interchange.

Downtown has the most tall buildings of all in 2009.

The Medical District has several 8-12 floor buildings.

What skyline looks better too you in 2009? And what skyline do you think will be the nicest in the future?

1) Medical District-More concentrated, modern
2)Downtown Augusta-taller, by the river, historic look
3)West Augusta-
4) Fort Gordon doesnt have a skyline to my knowledge

Unfortunately, a misguided individual landed a spaceship on an otherwise nice downtown skyline. There must have been other places available.

1.West Augusta
2.Downtown
3.Medical District
4.Ft. Gordon

In ten years
North Augusta
Walton way around Patridge Inn & Bon Air
Evans
Aiken

Only two buildings can be seen outside of Fort Gordon. The Eisenhower hospital and the mega signal towers. In order to see the skyline you have to be on post. West Augusta has two small skylines. Both of which are nice to look at. One extending from Riverwatch parkway to Washington road. The other and the nicest, starting at wheeler road and ending at walton way extension overpass. I love the mix of hotels, upscale apartments, offices, Doctor's hospital, banks, on interstate I-20. The Medical District is the most eccentric looking. Some of the buildings are space age designs. Downtown will continue to be ahead of the Medical District too me. I like having the older and newer buildings together downtown. Almost all the Medical District is new, and they're still building like crazy.
