Yep; won't see any movement on those projects until the economy improves further. We're having the same problems here in Greenville with several proposed mixed use projects.

They're still building roads in Wheeler Town Park. WTP still has construction equipment on site. And the Carmax opens March-August. Village at Riverwatch has no completed buildings, movement, or equipment on site as of today. I expect WTP to move quicker until Bass pro starts at VAR.

The only construction equipment I saw on the WTP site when I drove through it last month was 1 small tractor (like one for digging small holes), I didn't see any workers or equipment that hinted at any sort of construction. As far as I've seen, the site has pretty much stayed the same these past several months.

Eh, I don't have anything against norton, I know he loves Augusta, and I'm quite fond of the area as well, but sometimes I just really disagree with the way he approaches some things, and I let him know it, plus I just like to mess with him every once in a while too :P
