Default Hill Terrace development near the Surrey Center

I always thought how upscale residential. Should be built right around the Surrey Center on the Hill. Surrey Center consits of three levels of upscale/speciality shops/restaurants. I thought it would be upscale condos or apartments first.

Hill Terrace is a development of two story homes. Phase 1 is underway. Some of the homes near the Surrey Center. Are going to be tore down to make way for Hill Terrace.

What's your thoughts on future growth in this area? A new neighborhood in West Augusta on skinner mill rd(Costwolds Place starts in mid $250k) is being built 6 minutes away from this area of the Hill.

One of the new homes in Costwolds Place.

Phase 2 on Hill Terrace? Im not sure yet.

Augusta is growing even more. A new upscale office park btw ADP and T-Mobile. 1 mile to Augusta Exchange. And less than 1 mile to the new $4 million Knology facility.

Highland Ridge. The development is up and running. The office buildings can start going up.

A 14 acre 16 lot upscale office park. One of the lots have been sold.

Highland Ridge

Where exactly is that Hill Terrace going? I know there's a small bit of unused land right beside and behind Surrey Center but where exactly will it be or is that not official yet?

And what's going on with all the land and houses that were torn down right near the corner of Berckmans and Washington across from the National...didn't the Augusta National buy the land and tear down all the houses?

Hill Terrace is right across the street from Big Oak park. There is a fence surrounding the development.

Probably more parking for Augusta National. Or new cottages and masters homes. AUG National owns the empty food lion shopping center on washington rd too. They made food lion and the other store's leave.

Costwolds Place is on boy scout rd 6 minutes away. It's not located on skinner mill rd.

Knowing them they'll probably just leave the buildings abandoned and just use the parking space...or if I look on the bright side, maybe they'll tear the whole thing down and develop the land somehow...

They're going to redevelop the whole center. This has been the deal since 2007. That's why food lion left soon as they're lease was up this year. I seriously doubt it's more parking. They just build tons of new parking lately. Augusta National made food lion and every other store leave in the center.

When they knocked down all the homes on berkman. They built parking, cottages, and their Masters homes. It may be a mix of that on the food lion property.
